Your Admin Account
Manage your client-facing identity, panel preferences, password, and two-factor authentication in one account to personalize your workspace and protect sign-in.
Opening the Screen
Open the profile menu at the top right of the panel and choose account settings, or go straight to {admin}/ac-settings. The page always shows your account; other staff records are managed from the Administrators screen.
What Is on the Screen
The page is split into four tabs. Your privilege group is shown but cannot be changed here - only a full administrator can move you to another group.
Fields
Tasks
Set the name clients see
- Open Basic Details and fill in the display name.
- Save. Your ticket replies now carry that name instead of your full name.
Turn on two-factor authentication
- Open Security Settings and pick an authentication method.
- Scan the code with your authenticator application and enter the six digits it produces.
- Write the recovery keys down before you close the screen. They are shown once.
Sign out a device
- Open Security Settings and expand Active Sessions. Each row shows the browser, where it signed in from and when.
- Click the button on a row you do not recognize, or Sign Out Everywhere to end every other session, then confirm.
- That device is signed out on its next request and has to sign in again.
Revoke a trusted device
- Open Security Settings and expand Trusted Devices. Each row shows the browser, where it signed in from and when the trust ends.
- Click Revoke on a row you do not recognize, or Revoke All to clear every one, then confirm.
- That browser is asked for a verification code at its next sign-in. No one is signed out.
Remove your profile photo
- Open Basic Details. The Remove Photo button sits next to the picture and is shown only while a photo is stored.
- Click it and confirm. The stored file is deleted; the default support avatar appears in its place, in the top bar as well.
- To use a photo again, click the picture, pick a file and save.
Change your password
- Open Security Settings and enter your current password.
- Enter the new password twice and save.
Things to Watch
They are produced while the method is being enabled and are not displayed again afterwards. Without them, and without the authenticator, only another full administrator can get you back in.
Revoking a session ends that sign-in. Revoking a trusted device only means the browser is asked for a verification code again, and nobody is signed out. Sign Out Everywhere does both: every other session ends and every trusted device is cleared.
Both are unique across staff records. If a save is refused because the value is in use, the address or number is already on another account.
Language, display mode and menu style are stored on your account. They change nothing for your colleagues and nothing on the website.
Required Privileges
The screen needs EDIT_YOUR_ACCOUNT. Without it the page is closed, and your details are maintained by a full administrator on the Administrators screen.
