Addons

See every add-on installed on your system in one list. Switch each one on or off from the same column, open its settings and upload new packages.

Open the Tools menu and select Addons.

What Is on the Screen

Add-ons extend what your system can do. Official ones are bought from the marketplace, and their installation and activation happen automatically.

The list gives each add-on one row. It carries the logo, the name with the developer and version beneath it, what the add-on does, its marks and a switch.

The switches all sit in the same column on the right. A glance down that column tells you what is running.

Above the list, a strip filters the rows and counts them at the same time. All, Enabled, Disabled and Premium each carry a number. The search box beside them looks at the name, the developer and the description together.

The actions menu (three dots) at the end of a row holds the rest. An installed add-on has Settings, a free one also has Delete.

A paid add-on has no delete entry here. Click its name to open the settings screen and use the Delete button there.

Upload New Addon stands beside the page title and opens the upload window. The download button at the right end of the filter strip saves the list as CSV, JSON or XML.

An add-on that ships no logo shows its initials instead, so two add-ons without artwork never look like the same one.

Enable an add-on

1. Find the row and click its switch in the Enabled column.
2. The add-on starts working and the list refreshes with the new counts.
3. For a paid add-on, your licence is read at that moment. If it does not cover the add-on, the switch goes back and the Purchase Required window opens.

Disable an add-on

1. Click the switch of a running add-on.
2. Read the Disable Addon Confirmation window and click the Disable Addon button.
3. Everything the add-on does stops at once. Closing the window instead leaves the add-on running and puts the switch back.

Find an add-on

1. Type part of the name, the developer or the description into the search box.
2. Pick a filter above the list to narrow further, or to see only what is off.
3. When nothing matches, the list says so and offers Clear Filters.

Upload a new add-on

1. Click the Upload New Addon button next to the page title.
2. Drop the package into the marked area, or click Choose File and pick it.
3. Click the Upload & Install button and wait for Installation Progress to finish.
4. The add-on is installed and joins the list on this screen.

Delete an add-on

1. Open the actions menu at the end of the row and select Delete. A paid add-on has no such entry; open its settings screen from its name instead.
2. Write DELETE in the confirmation box.
3. Click the Delete Permanently button. The add-on files, its settings and its database tables are removed.

Buy a paid add-on

1. Open the Premium filter and find the row.
2. A paid add-on that is not installed shows its price where the switch would be. Click it.
3. If it is installed but your licence does not cover it, the Purchase Required window opens. It offers Learn More and Buy Now.

Things to Watch

Required Privileges

The screen and every action on it need TOOLS_ADDONS. Enabling, disabling, deleting and uploading all use the same privilege. Downloading the list additionally needs TABLE_EXPORT.
