Clients (By Trade Volume)

100 Aufrufe Markdown

Clients (By Trade Volume) ranks your clients by what they have actually paid you, so you can see who carries the revenue and treat those accounts accordingly.

Opening the Screen

Select WAnalytics in the sidebar, then open Clients and High Trade Volume on the report rail at the left. The direct address is {admin}/wanalytics/clients/by-high-trade-volume.

What Is on the Screen

The report header carries the report name, an info icon and the PDF button. Hover the info icon for a one line reminder of what the report is for. There is no period control here: the report covers every payment ever received.

  • Figure rail: the total trade volume and the number of clients behind it.
  • Volume Tiers: a ranked list showing how many clients fall into each tier.
  • Clients (By Trade Volume): the client list, with a tier filter, a search box, a download button and a per page selector.

Fields

Figures

Trade Volume
The total of all paid invoices, in your local currency.
Clients
How many clients have at least one paid invoice. Clients who never paid are not in this report.

Volume tiers

Every client falls into one of four tiers by total volume. The tier appears as a badge under the amount in the list, and the tier filter above the list carries the same names with their limits.

Premium
10,000 and above.
High Volume
5,000 up to 10,000.
Medium Volume
1,000 up to 5,000.
Low Volume
Anything under 1,000.

List columns and controls

Avg. Invoice
The volume divided by the number of paid invoices.
Last Payment
When that client last paid an invoice. Click the heading to sort the list by this column.
Status
The state of the account, such as active or blocked.
Tier filter
Optional. Limits the list to one tier. Default: All Volumes.
Search box
Optional. Searches the client name, the email address and the company name.

Tasks

See how the revenue is spread

  1. Read Volume Tiers from the top. Each row gives the number of clients in that tier and its share.
  2. Compare that with the Trade Volume figure. A few names carrying most of the total is a risk worth knowing about.

Pull out one tier

  1. Open the tier select above the list and pick a tier, for example Premium.
  2. The list is limited to that tier, and your choice is added to the page address so the link can be shared.
  3. Pick All Volumes to bring every client back.

Take the report out of the panel

  1. Click the PDF button in the report header to save the figures, the tiers and the visible rows as a document.
  2. Click the download button above the list, then pick CSV, JSON or XML to save the rows as a file.

Things to Watch

Only paid invoices count

Unpaid, cancelled and refunded invoices are outside this report. A client with large open invoices can look small here, so do not read the tier as a credit rating.

Currencies are converted

Invoices paid in another currency are converted to your local currency at the current rate. The same client can move between tiers when your rates change.

What the file holds

Every row matching the current tier and search is written, not only the page you see. Sorting is kept and paging is dropped.
