SMS Modules
Choose local and international SMS providers and control where SMS delivery is offered, so notifications and API-originated messages use the intended route.
Reaching the Screen
Go to Settings → SMS: {admin}/modules/sms
What Is on the Screen
Initial Settings separates the default provider from the international provider and exposes delivery switches. All Modules opens each provider's credentials and module options.
Fields
Tasks
Select SMS providers
- Configure the provider modules under All Modules.
- Select the primary module and, if required, an international module.
- Save. SMS delivery uses the selected routes when the corresponding service switches are enabled.
Enable international SMS
- Select an International SMS Module.
- Enable International SMS Service and save.
- The international SMS route becomes available through that provider.
Things to Watch
Türkiye-only providers such as Netgsm are listed, and the Türkiye SMS Service switch is shown, when the system country under Settings → General → Localization is Türkiye or the panel language is Turkish. An English panel with the country set to Türkiye still lists them. The same rule hides Turkish payment gateways and the Gri registrar module on other installations.
While Enabled Module Selection is empty, the system sends no SMS at all. Notifications that would go by SMS are not queued, so the Notification Queue shows no failed SMS rows. Their e-mail copies still go out. Bulk SMS sends and the API are refused with "SMS module not configured".
Privileges
SMS Module Settings (MODULES_SMS_SETTINGS) is required.
