WTranslator Ticket Translation Addon
WTranslator translates support conversations both ways: the customer's message into your language, and your reply into theirs. Your team keeps working in one language while every customer is answered in their own.
Opening the Screen
Go to Tools → Addons → WTranslator → Settings: {admin}/tools/addons/settings?module=WTranslator
This module is included in the Business Plan at no extra cost. On other WISECP licence plans you can add it to your existing licence.
What the Addon Does
Translation works in two places: support tickets and contact messages. Both show a Translate button above the reply box.
| Direction | What is translated | Target language |
|---|---|---|
| Incoming | The customer's message is translated. You read the ticket without opening another tool. | Your panel language. |
| Outgoing | Your reply is translated. You write in your own language, then translate before sending. | The language on the customer's account. |
Review before sending
The translation is never sent on its own. It is placed in the reply box, so you read it, adjust anything you want, then send. A second click on the same button restores your original text.
The customer's language
The target comes from the language setting on the customer's account. It is not guessed from the message, so short replies land in the right language too.
Fields
Saved keys appear as asterisks. Leave a key field empty to keep the stored value.
Tasks
Connecting a translation provider
- On the settings screen, pick one under Translation Provider.
- Enter the key of your provider account in the fields that appear.
- Click Save. The Translate button now works on the ticket screen.
Translating a ticket
- Open the ticket and click Translate next to the customer's message. It appears in your panel language.
- Write your reply in your own language.
- Click Translate above the reply box. The text is converted into the customer's language.
- Adjust it if needed, then send the reply.
Things to Watch
The key belongs to your own account. Translation charges are paid to the provider you chose, not to your WISECP licence.
With a provider selected but no key, the request returns an error. If the licence is not valid, the button does not appear at all.
Required Privileges
Changing the settings needs the addon management privilege. Using the Translate button only needs access to support tickets.
