Server Management

See every hosting or automation server in one list, with usage, profit or loss and status visible at a glance.

Opening the Screen

Open Products › Hosting & Servers › Server Settings from the side menu: {admin}/products/servers.

The list shows every server already connected. Add New Server above it opens the connection form (Adding a Server). Server Groups beside it opens the load balancing groups (Server Groups).

What Is on the Screen

AreaHoldsWhen
ToolbarApply to Selected, Server Group filter, Automation Module filterAbove the list; on mobile behind Show Options.
ListHostname, IP Address, Type, Usage, Profit/Loss, Status, row menuAlways, one row per server.

Toolbar

Apply to Selected applies Activate, Inactivate or Delete to the ticked rows and clears itself once sent. Server Group narrows the list to one group. Automation Module narrows it to one module and lists only modules a server actually uses.

Columns and the Row Menu

Hostname links to the server's edit screen; an API username of root, admin, superadmin or administrator adds a small Root badge beside it. IP Address is where the panel connects. Type shows the automation module's logo, or its name when it has none, with a tooltip naming the module. Usage is a bar for the share of Maximum Accounts already used by services.

Profit/Loss compares last month's revenue from services on this server against its Monthly Cost. Green means the server earns more than it costs, red means the reverse, and a dash means no Monthly Cost is set. Status is the Active or Inactive badge. Each row ends with a three dot menu holding Edit and Delete, and the download icon in the toolbar offers the filtered list as CSV, JSON or XML.

Filter Fields

Server GroupOptional, empty by default. Only servers assigned to the chosen group.
Automation ModuleOptional, empty by default. Only servers using the chosen module.
Apply to SelectedActivate, Inactivate or Delete for the ticked rows. Empties itself after it runs.

Tasks

Narrowing the List

  1. In the toolbar, pick a value in Server Group or Automation Module.
  2. The list narrows at once; both filters apply together.
  3. Set the dropdown back to its placeholder to see every server again.

Activating or Inactivating Several Servers

  1. Tick the servers you want, or the header box for the whole page.
  2. Choose Activate or Inactivate from Apply to Selected.
  3. Confirm in the window that opens. Inactivating is refused while a product still assigns services to the server, or while active services already run on it.
  4. The list reloads once the change is applied.

Deleting One or More Servers

  1. Open a row's three dot menu and choose Delete, or tick several rows and choose Delete from Apply to Selected.
  2. Confirm in the window; deleting more than one server asks for your admin password.
  3. Deletion is refused while active services are still linked to the server. Detach or move them first.
  4. Confirmed rows disappear from the list right away.

Things to Watch

Deleting is refused while services remain

A server cannot be deleted while active services are still linked to it. Detach those services or move them to another server first.

Inactivating checks the same thing

Inactivating is refused if a product still assigns services to this server, or if active services are already running on it.

Bulk delete asks for your password

Deleting two or more servers at once asks for your own admin password before it proceeds. Deleting a single server does not.

Required Privileges

Opening the screen and every action on it, filtering, activating, inactivating and deleting, all need Server Settings (MODULES_SERVERS_SETTINGS). Downloading the list additionally needs the export privilege; without it the download icon does not appear.
