Client List

105 Aufrufe Markdown

Every client record in one place: the day's totals at the top, a filter row that narrows the list, and actions that can be applied to many records at once.

Opening the Screen

Choose Clients › Client List from the menu, or open {admin}/users directly. It is also where every client link in the panel ends up.

What Is on the Screen

The page has three parts stacked on top of each other: the overview card, the filter row and the list itself.

Client overview

Eight readings for the selected period, refreshed with the period picker at the top right of the card. The first four are also filters: choosing one narrows the list below to that status.

Active Accounts Clients whose account status is active.
Blocked Accounts Clients whose access has been blocked.
New Clients Records created within the selected period.
Blacklisted Clients on the blacklist.
Active Services Total active services across all clients.
Unpaid Invoices Total invoices waiting for payment.
Balance Total credit held on client accounts, converted to your local currency.
Growth Rate Client growth against the previous period.

Filters

Group and status sit in the toolbar; the rest open with Advanced Filter. Filters combine, and the ones you set stay in the address, so a narrowed list can be bookmarked or passed to a colleague.

Group The client group the record belongs to.
Status Active, blocked, inactive or blacklisted.
Language / Currency The client's own interface language and currency.
Country The country on the billing address.
Phone / IP Partial match on the phone number or the last known address.
Last Login A date range, with an operator so you can ask for before or after.
Registration Date A date range on when the record was created.

The list

Each row carries the name and company, the e-mail and phone with their verification marks, country and currency, the last sign-in, a service count and the status. The menu at the end of the row opens the record and its per-client actions. The download button above the list exports the filtered set, not just the page you are looking at.

Tasks

Find a client

  1. Type into the search box for a name, e-mail address or company.
  2. For anything else - country, currency, last sign-in - open Advanced Filter and combine the fields.
  3. Closing Advanced Filter clears every filter inside it and reloads the list.

Apply an action to several clients

  1. Tick the rows you want, or the box in the header to take the whole page.
  2. Pick the action from Apply to Selected.
  3. Read the confirmation window: it names the action, counts the records and says what will happen to them.
  4. Confirm; the list reloads and the affected rows show their new status.
Mark as Verified Marks the e-mail address and phone number of the selected clients as verified.
Activate Returns the selected accounts to active.
Block Blocks the accounts; the clients can no longer sign in.
Delete Permanently removes every client record, including orders, services, invoices and support requests.

Things to Watch

Deleting a client is not reversible

It takes the orders, services, invoices and support requests with it. Make sure the backup you would need already exists before you confirm.

Blocking is not deleting

A blocked client keeps every record; only the sign-in is closed. It is the reversible answer when you need the account off the air today.

The export follows the filter

The file contains the whole filtered set, not the visible page, and it carries columns the screen has no room for - e-mail, phone, group, balance, language, address and registration date.

Required Privileges

Opening the list needs a privilege from the USERS group, typically USERS_LOOK. The bulk actions and the row actions need USERS_OPERATION; without it the selection column and the action list are not drawn. Downloading also needs TABLE_EXPORT.
