Creating a Page
Publish a standing page on your website, such as About or Contact, and write it in every language you serve.
Reaching the Screen
Panel menu: Site Management, then Pages. Above the list, click Create Page.
{admin}/manage-website/pages/add
What Is on the Screen
One form, under a strip of language tabs.
The language tabs
The tabs choose which language you are writing. Title, Link Structure, Content and the SEO boxes hold one value per language.
Settings shared by every language, such as Hide Sidebar and Background Image, appear on the default language tab only.
The web address
Link Structure shows the address the page will get. It follows the title as you type.
The pencil button lets you rewrite the bold part by hand. The panel checks it and warns you when another page already holds that address.
Search engine settings
Enable SEO starts on. It opens Page Title and Meta Description for the tab's language, each with a length meter.
Those two become the page's browser title and its meta description on the website.
Fields
Tasks
Write and publish the page
- Fill in Title and Content on the first language tab.
- Open each remaining tab and fill the same two boxes there.
- Click Create. The page is saved as active and the page list opens.
Set the address by hand
- On the language tab you want, click the pencil next to Link Structure.
- Type your wording over the bold part and press Enter.
- A warning under the address means it is taken. Pick another wording and the warning clears.
Things to Watch
The save is refused when a language tab has no title, and the message names the language. Content may stay empty, a title may not.
Saving publishes the page at its own address. Visitors reach it from a menu only after you add it in Menu Management.
A page created here is live right away. The Status switch, which takes it back offline, appears once you reopen the page for editing.
Required Privileges
The screen and its save need MANAGE_WEBSITE_OPERATION. Without it the create button is missing from the page list.
