Connect ResellerClub to WISECP to sell domains and manage their registration, renewal and transfer from the customer’s service record.

Opening the Screen

Open Products → Domains → Domain Name Registrars → All Modules and select ResellerClub: {admin}/module/registrars?module=ResellerClub.

What Is on the Screen

Module Settings holds the connection and default nameservers. Import lists existing provider domains. Import Extensions lists extension costs for selection.

Prepare the provider account

  1. Open your ResellerClub reseller account. Keep sufficient provider funds for paid domain operations.
  2. In the profile menu, open Manage Profile and note the Reseller Id.
  3. Open Settings → API → View API key. Copy the key and allow the WISECP server’s outgoing IP under Whitelist your IP Addresses.
  4. Click Save whitelisted IP addresses. Allow time for activation before testing. See ResellerClub access and authentication.

Settings

User IDRequired; initially empty. Enter the reseller ID for the selected live or demo account.
API KeyRequired; initially empty. Use the API key from the same account.
Test ModeOff by default. Selects the test API address; it does not make live credentials safe for testing.
Default NameserversFour optional entries, initially empty. Enter your authoritative nameservers; the first two carry required markers. Without both, service defaults use system nameservers.
Automatic Cost UpdatesOff by default. Enable it to retrieve ResellerClub costs, including the extension import list.
Cost CurrencyRequired for accurate costs. Match the provider’s billing currency; the initial selection comes from the installation’s currency list.

Tasks

Connect and test

  1. For a test, obtain a separate ResellerClub demo account. Enter its ID and key in Module Settings and select Test Mode.
  2. Click Test Connection beside Save Changes. A successful domain-list check confirms access, without placing an order.
  3. Click Save Changes to retain the settings. Testing alone does not save them.
  4. For live use, enter live credentials and clear Test Mode; test and save again. No separate server record is needed.

Import extensions and existing domains

  1. After saving costs and currency, open Import Extensions. Select the required extensions and click that tab’s Import.
  2. Check their registrar assignment and sale prices under Products → Domains. Import can update an existing extension using the configured profit rate.
  3. To add domains already held at ResellerClub, open Import. Assign each selected domain to its customer and review dates, then click Import.
  4. Check the new service’s customer, provider and expiry date. This adds a WISECP service; it does not buy or transfer the domain.

Register, transfer and renew

Assign the extension to ResellerClub before accepting orders. Supply the registrant and other WHOIS contacts, nameservers and any extension-specific requirements. A registration creates the provider contacts and domain. A transfer needs the losing registrar’s unlock and EPP code; it remains pending until completion. Paid renewal requests extend the provider registration. Check the provider result and service expiry before retrying an uncertain order.

Manage a domain

From Orders → Services, open the domain. DNS provides nameserver changes, child nameserver add/edit/delete and DNS record management. Supported records are A, AAAA, NS, MX, CNAME, TXT and SRV. Use provider-hosted DNS for these records to affect resolution.

WHOIS manages contacts and eligible privacy. Transfer → Get Auth (EPP) Code generates a new provider code, replacing the old one. Transfer locking is also supported. Status and expiry synchronization follow the provider.

Customers manage their own domain through its service details, subject to access and addon settings. DNS management and WHOIS privacy may require an active addon. This module has no DNSSEC, web/email forwarding or redemption restore action; use the provider for those operations.

Things to Watch

Test credentials matter

ResellerClub can perform real operations with live credentials even at its test address. Verify a demo account before any registration, transfer or renewal test. Connection success does not prove a paid operation.

Costs and privacy

Privacy purchase follows the WISECP addon and can charge the provider account. Disabling privacy does not promise a refund. Check balances, scheduled cost updates and sale margins regularly.

Privileges

Domain Name Registrars is required for setup. Service operations require the appropriate service permissions.
