ZesleCP
Connect ZesleCP to provision hosting accounts and manage their lifecycle from WISECP.
Accessing the Screen
Open Products / Services → Servers, click Add New Server and select ZesleCP in Server Automation Module. Address: {admin}/products/servers-add.
Before You Connect
ZesleCP's official key guide requires a Pro or Business license for API access. As the server administrator, use sudo zesle api:create over SSH to create the key pair. Existing keys can be listed with sudo zesle api:list. Keep both the API key and its secret.
Prepare hosting packages in ZesleCP and allow WISECP to reach its API. WISECP needs an available module license, an active server and a hosting product priced in the selected currency. Saved servers offer Preferences, Linked Services and Import.
Connection and Product Settings
Tasks
Connecting and Testing
- Complete Connection Details, including both keys, and click Test Connection. The test reads hosting packages.
- Complete Identity and Capacity and click Add New Server. Verify the saved record; later edits use Save Changes.
- A successful read does not verify creation, suspension or deletion. Check these separately on an existing test service before enabling automation.
Mapping a Hosting Product
- Open the product's Automation → Module Assignment and select ZesleCP.
- In Server Configuration, choose Single Server or Server Group. Select Module Configuration → Hosting Package and review Reseller Account.
- Review Resource Limits and prices. Keep the initial product hidden and Automatic Setup disabled.
- Click Save Changes; verify the saved package and server.
Package selection fills disk, bandwidth, email, database, FTP, domain and hourly email quotas. Missing, zero or negative caps appear unlimited. Changing shared limits does not independently update ZesleCP account quotas.
Creation requires a domain and a package resolvable on the target server. It saves the account ID returned by ZesleCP. A saved ID skips account creation on retry; confirm the existing account before repeating setup.
Reviewing Existing Accounts
In the saved server, open Import and click List Results. The list shows domains and account IDs. The usual import form selects customer, product, billing period and dates; Import below it creates WISECP associations.
Current import does not preserve the account ID in the form required by later account actions. Do not enable automation on imported ZesleCP services until this mapping is corrected and verified. Import does not move files or recover passwords. Empty results can also indicate an API failure.
Managing Accounts
For correctly associated accounts, WISECP provides creation, suspension, reactivation, termination, password changes and package upgrades. Upgrades apply the new product's package to the existing account. There is no separate service package-edit form in this integration.
Suspension and reactivation use the same ZesleCP toggle operation. Check the panel's current state before retrying either action. Repeating a request can reverse the intended state.
Administrators and customers see account information and disk data in Management → Overview. Resource totals come from configured quotas; email, database, domain and FTP usage counters remain zero. They do not prove that no resources exist.
Automatic usage collection covers disk only, when the API supplies it. Missing usage can appear as zero; bandwidth collection and independent metric quota updates are unavailable. Compare disk readings with ZesleCP before relying on usage billing.
Panel login opens the panel without automatic authentication. Service access restrictions can hide the customer's shortcut. Files, email, FTP, databases, DNS, cron and SSL are managed inside ZesleCP, without corresponding WISECP tools.
No automatic price catalog, order requirement or add-on is created; periodic package catalog synchronization is unavailable. Compare an existing test service's account ID, package, overview and panel login before enabling automation.
Important Notes
Termination permanently deletes the account. A missing saved ID or failed lookup can be treated as an absent account. Back up first and verify deletion in ZesleCP. Package changes replace quotas.
Required Permissions
Server settings require MODULES_SERVERS_SETTINGS; product editing requires PRODUCTS_OPERATION. Service actions need their corresponding permissions.
