Creating a Reference
Publish a customer project on your site with its images, highlights and technical details, in every language your site speaks.
Opening the Screen
Open Site Management in the sidebar, then References. The Create Reference button above the list opens the form: {admin}/manage-website/references/add
To change one that already exists, click Edit in its row menu: {admin}/manage-website/references/edit?id={reference}. Both screens carry the same form. The few differences are named below.
Nothing is stored until you click Create, so leaving the page discards the whole form.
What Is on the Screen
One form, with a strip above it carrying a two-letter tab per active language.
Language Tabs
Title, Link Structure, Featured Information, Technical Information, Content and the two SEO fields hold a separate value per language. The tab you choose decides which one you are filling in. Everything else stays shared: category, sort order, images and the customer address. Those shared fields appear only on the first tab, the one for your default language. Switch to another language and they leave the form, so fill them in before you change tabs.
Title, Address and Category
Title is the name shown on your site. Link Structure is the address the reference will answer on, built from the title. The pencil button beside it rewrites the highlighted part. Category groups the reference on your site.
A Status switch appears on the edit screen only. A new reference is always created active.
Listing, Layout and Details
Hide unpublishes the reference: it leaves the listing and the sitemap, and its own address returns a 404 error, so the link cannot be shared for preview. Sort Order decides its position in list views, and Hide Sidebar gives the detail page the full width. Featured Information and Technical Information are the two lists on that page; write one item per line. URL holds the customer's own website address.
Images
Three upload boxes. Listing Image is the visual in the reference list, Mockup Image the visual on the detail page, and Background Image the header band. Each box names its recommended size and limits. Drop a file onto a box, or click the box to browse. On the edit screen an image already in place also carries a remove button.
Content and SEO
Content is the rich text of the detail page. The card under the editor holds Enable SEO, Page Title and Meta Description. With the switch off, the title and description you typed are not saved.
Fields
Tasks
Creating a Reference
- Open Site Management → References and click the Create Reference button.
- Fill in Title for the first language. Switch language on the tab strip and fill it in there too.
- Choose a Category, add the images, then write the Featured Information, Technical Information and Content.
- Click Create at the bottom. The reference is saved as active and you land back on the list.
Changing the Address
- Pick the language you want on the tab strip, so you edit the address of that language.
- Click the pencil button on the right of Link Structure. The highlighted part of the address becomes editable.
- Type the new wording, then click the button again to keep it.
- If another page already uses that address, a warning appears under the field. Pick a different wording.
Adding the Images
- Drop your file onto the Listing Image box, or click the box and choose the file.
- Repeat for Mockup Image and Background Image. Each box shows the recommended size and the size limit.
- Click Create. The files are stored with the rest of the form.
Things to Watch
Saving is refused when any active language has an empty Title. The message names the language. Walk the whole tab strip before you click Create.
The create screen has no status choice. The reference is saved as active and visitors can reach it. Tick Hide when the material is not ready, and clear it once you are done.
On the edit screen, the remove button deletes the file the moment you click it. Nothing is asked to confirm, and it does not wait for Save. Upload the replacement first when you have one.
