Connect cPanel to manage hosting accounts and let clients use their hosting tools from WISECP.

Opening the Screen

Open Products → Hosting & Servers → Server Settings → Add New Server. Under Server Automation Module → Web Hosting, select cPanel.

{admin}/products/servers-add. Click an existing server’s name to edit it.

Before You Connect

Use a licensed WHM server and a root or reseller account authorized to manage its hosting accounts. In WHM, open Development → Manage API Tokens and click Generate Token. Grant the operations you will use: account/package listing, creation, suspension, removal, password/plan changes, sessions and user tools. Reseller creation requires root. Restrict access to your WISECP server IP. WHM token instructions.

Use an active server record and a Hosting product. This module has no provider-price catalogue import. Product prices and billing currency are set in WISECP.

Connection and Product Settings

Address / HostnameRequired. Enter the panel host without a URL path. HTTPS port: 2087. Hostname takes precedence over Address when connecting.
Username / Password / API TokenUsername is required. Supply a password or API Token; the key takes precedence when both are present. Keep existing password dots to preserve it.
Verify SSL CertificateOn for new records. Keep HTTPS and certificate verification enabled; Use Custom Port overrides the module port.
Identity and CapacityMonthly Cost defaults to zero; choose its currency. Maximum Accounts defaults to 200 when empty. Occupancy alerts require a limit. Nameservers accepts four lines.

Module Configuration

On the product’s Automation tab, these fields appear in Module Configuration after choosing the server.

PackageOptional. Select an existing WHM package; without one, account creation uses the product resource limits. An unavailable list becomes a text field.
Add ResellerOff by default; visible only when the server username is root.
Apply Account Creation Limit / Account Open LimitOptional reseller controls. Enable the first to enter the account count.
Limit Resource Usage / Disk Space (MB) / Bandwidth (MB)Optional reseller controls. Enable resource limits to enter quotas; Unlimited removes each limit.
Privileges (ACL List)Reseller privileges. Default is selected initially; named ACL lists come from WHM.

Tasks

Connect and Check

  1. Enter the fields under Connection Details, then click Test Connection in that section.
  2. The test reads the WHM version and may fill Hostname and Nameservers. It does not prove provisioning or every user tool works.
  3. Complete Identity and Capacity and click Add New Server. Confirm the server appears in the list; editing uses Save Changes.

Map the Product

  1. Open a Hosting product’s Automation tab. Select cPanel in Module Assignment.
  2. In Server Configuration, choose Single Server or Server Group. Group members need matching package names.
  3. Choose the package and review Resource Limits; package selection can fill these values. This does not import products or prices.
  4. For initial checks, keep the product hidden and Automatic Setup off, then click Save Changes. Reopen Automation to verify the selection.

Product add-on mappings support Backup Service, Dedicated IP and Shell Access; requirements support PHP Version. Configure them in the product’s Add-ons and Requirements tabs; selecting this module does not create saleable add-ons automatically. Backups still depend on WHM backup configuration.

Import Existing Accounts

  1. Open the saved server’s Import tab and click List Results to list accounts.
  2. Select accounts and match each to a client, product, billing cycle, start and end dates. Existing domain matches prevent duplicate service links.
  3. Click Import below the list. Check Linked Services; importing links existing accounts and does not create new panel accounts.

Manage Services and Client Tools

Open an existing service and select Management → Overview for its tools or Management → Settings for configuration. Service-specific Preferences can also hide tools. See Service Management for action windows and confirmations.

Administrators can create, suspend, unsuspend, terminate, change passwords and upgrade accounts from the service’s management controls. The service configuration offers Override Plan and Reseller Status; root is required for reseller changes. A reseller with child accounts cannot lose reseller status. Client panel sign-in uses a temporary cPanel session; administrators can open WHM from the server record.

In a saved server’s Preferences → Client Area Preferences, choose the client tools and click Save Changes. Product access restrictions also apply. Clients open their hosting service’s Management tab to use the enabled tools.

File Manager, FTP Accounts, Databases, Remote Database, phpMyAdmin, Addon Domains, Subdomains, Domain Redirects, DNS Zone Editor, Email Accounts, Email Forwarders, MX Entry, Webmail, PHP Version, PHP INI Editor, Cron Jobs, SSL Management and IP Blocker. SSL supports AutoSSL and custom certificates. Existing addon domains, subdomains and forwarders cannot be edited here; delete/recreate changes them. There is no backup tool in this module.

Disk/bandwidth gauges and account/resource information reflect provider data. Scheduled usage collection updates enabled metrics; it does not synchronize package prices. Validate an existing test service’s details without creating or deleting a provider account.

Things to Watch

Data and Costs

Termination removes the hosting account and its data. Lower quotas can restrict existing usage. Backup Service enables participation in WHM backups; it does not prove a recoverable backup exists. Panel licences, hosting and optional services may incur provider charges.

Required Privileges

Server access requires MODULES_SERVERS_SETTINGS; product changes require PRODUCTS_OPERATION. Administrator panel sign-in requires MODULES_ROOT_LOGIN_BUTTON. Service actions need the corresponding service privileges.
