Cancelled Services Analysis

110 vues Markdown

See which products lose the most services to cancellation and what revenue those cancellations take away.

Opening the Screen

Open WAnalytics, then choose Services and Cancelled Services in the left rail: {admin}/wanalytics/services/by-cancelled

The period and the category selection travel in the address: {admin}/wanalytics/services/by-cancelled?filter[range]=2026-01-01 - 2026-06-30&filter[svc_type]=hosting

What Is on the Screen

The report opens with four figures for the chosen period, then the trend, then the register. The information mark next to the title repeats what the report is for.

Services How many cancelled services fall in the period.
Loss What those services were worth, converted into the installation's local currency. This is one period of the price, not the whole life of the service.
Products How many separate products the report found in the period. Domain names count once per extension.
Categories How many service categories appear in the period. The category selector names them: Hosting, Domain, Server, Software and Other Services.
Cancellation Trend Analysis Two plots on one axis: Revenue Loss above, Cancelled Services below. One point per month.
Register One row per product, ordered by how many services were lost. Search, page size and download sit around it.

Fields

Date Range The period the whole report is built from. Quick ranges sit in the calendar-range menu beside the field: Today, Yesterday, Last 7 Days, Last 30 Days, This Month, Last Month, This Year, Last Year; your own dates are picked in the calendar. Not required; until you choose one, the last 30 days apply.
Apply The button beside the date field. It opens the report again with the range that stands in the box, even when you have not changed it.
All Categories Narrows the register to one category. Not required; the default keeps every category.
Search... Matches the product name in the register. A domain extension can be searched with its dot, such as .com.
Product/Service The product name. Domain names are gathered under their extension instead of a product.
Category Which service category the row belongs to.
Services How many services of that product were cancelled.
Revenue Loss Total value of the cancelled services on that row.
Last Created The newest creation date among the cancelled services on that row.

Tasks

Change the period

  1. Click the date field at the top right of the report.
  2. Pick a ready choice. Figures, trend and register all move to that period at once.
  3. For your own dates, click the date field, mark a start and an end in the calendar, then close it (click outside); the page reloads with that range.

Find the product that loses most

  1. Widen the period to several months so single weeks do not mislead you.
  2. The register arrives ordered by service count, so the first row lost the most services.
  3. Click the Revenue Loss heading to order by money instead. A cheap product with many cancellations and an expensive one with few then change places.

Download the register

  1. Click the download button beside the search box.
  2. Choose CSV, JSON or XML.
  3. The file carries every row that matches the current filter and search, not only the page on screen.

Things to Watch

The period asks when the service was created

The report gathers services that are cancelled today and were created in the chosen period. It does not ask when the cancellation happened. A service sold in January and cancelled in June belongs to January here.

The trend counts by month

Both plots hold one point per month, so a period of a few days arrives as a single column. Choose several months to read a direction from it.

The category selection reaches the register only

The four figures and the trend always cover the whole period. Choosing a category changes the register underneath them, so a total above will look larger than the rows below add up to.

Required Privileges

Reaching the report needs the WANALYTICS privilege. The download button appears for staff who also hold the table export permission.
