Plesk

Connect Plesk to manage hosting accounts and let clients use their hosting tools from WISECP.

Opening the Screen

Open Products → Hosting & Servers → Server Settings → Add New Server. Under Server Automation Module → Web Hosting, select Plesk.

{admin}/products/servers-add. Click an existing server’s name to edit it.

Before You Connect

Use a licensed Plesk server with administrator access. This integration combines REST, XML and the REST CLI gateway; REST access alone is not enough for all tools. Open Tools & Settings → Remote API (REST) → API Reference and Playground to review access. Create a key for the administrator and the WISECP server’s outgoing IP, or use the administrator password. Plesk authentication instructions.

Use an active server record and a Hosting product. This module has no provider-price catalogue import. Product prices and billing currency are set in WISECP.

Connection and Product Settings

Address / HostnameRequired. Enter the panel host without a URL path. HTTPS port: 8443. Hostname takes precedence over Address when connecting.
Username / Password / API KeyUsername is required. Supply a password or API Key; the key takes precedence when both are present. Keep existing password dots to preserve it.
Verify SSL CertificateOn for new records. Keep HTTPS and certificate verification enabled; Use Custom Port overrides the module port.
Identity and CapacityMonthly Cost defaults to zero; choose its currency. Maximum Accounts defaults to 200 when empty. Occupancy alerts require a limit. Nameservers accepts four lines.

Module Configuration

On the product’s Automation tab, these fields appear in Module Configuration after choosing the server.

Service PlanOptional. Select the Plesk plan by name; no plan means custom product limits. If listing fails, enter the exact name.
Add as ResellerOff by default. Creates a reseller owner instead of a customer owner.
Reseller PlanShown when Add as Reseller is on. Select a plan, or enter its name if the list is unavailable.

Tasks

Connect and Check

  1. Enter the fields under Connection Details, then click Test Connection in that section.
  2. The test reads REST server information. It does not test XML operations, CLI permissions or account creation.
  3. Complete Identity and Capacity and click Add New Server. Confirm the server appears in the list; editing uses Save Changes.

Map the Product

  1. Open a Hosting product’s Automation tab. Select Plesk in Module Assignment.
  2. In Server Configuration, choose Single Server or Server Group. Group members need matching package names.
  3. Choose the package and review Resource Limits; package selection can fill these values. This does not import products or prices.
  4. For initial checks, keep the product hidden and Automatic Setup off, then click Save Changes. Reopen Automation to verify the selection.

Add-on mappings offer Backup Service, Dedicated IP and Shell Access. Backup Service grants the subscriber backup permissions; it does not schedule backups. Dedicated IP needs a free exclusive IPv4. Requirements list PHP Version and custom_note, but neither is applied during account creation. Change PHP from the enabled PHP Version tool. Configure mappings in the product’s Add-ons and Requirements tabs; they are not created automatically.

Import Existing Accounts

  1. Open the saved server’s Import tab and click List Results to list accounts.
  2. Select accounts and match each to a client, product, billing cycle, start and end dates. Existing domain matches prevent duplicate service links.
  3. Click Import below the list. Check Linked Services; importing links existing accounts and does not create new panel accounts.

Manage Services and Client Tools

Open an existing service and select Management → Overview for its tools or Management → Settings for configuration. Service-specific Preferences can also hide tools. See Service Management for action windows and confirmations.

Service management supports creation, suspension, unsuspension, termination, password changes and upgrades. Creation makes an owner and subscription, using an available shared IP. Upgrades can switch customer/reseller type and plans; child customers can prevent reseller conversion. Client sign-in uses an IP-bound session. The admin’s Plesk sign-in uses the stored administrator identity; API-only credentials may not support password-based login.

In a saved server’s Preferences → Client Area Preferences, choose the client tools and click Save Changes. Product access restrictions also apply. Clients open their hosting service’s Management tab to use the enabled tools.

FTP Accounts, Backups, Databases, Addon Domains, Subdomains, DNS Zone Editor, Email Accounts, Email Forwarders, Webmail, PHP Version, PHP INI Editor, Cron Jobs and SSL Management. Backups can be listed, created and restored, but not downloaded or deleted here. FTP quota, database-user renaming and a global cron email are unavailable. SSL supports Let’s Encrypt and custom certificates. File Manager, remote database, phpMyAdmin, redirects, MX and IP blocking are not enabled tools.

Disk/bandwidth gauges and account/resource information reflect provider data. Scheduled usage collection updates enabled metrics; it does not synchronize package prices. Validate an existing test service’s details without creating or deleting a provider account.

Things to Watch

Data and Costs

Termination removes the subscription and attempts to remove its customer/reseller owner. Do not import an owner shared by unrelated subscriptions without reviewing this effect. Restore can overwrite current data. Dedicated IP and certificates depend on provider capacity and installed extensions. Panel licences, hosting and optional services may incur provider charges.

Required Privileges

Server access requires MODULES_SERVERS_SETTINGS; product changes require PRODUCTS_OPERATION. Administrator panel sign-in requires MODULES_ROOT_LOGIN_BUTTON. Service actions need the corresponding service privileges.
