Froxlor

Connect Froxlor to WISECP to manage customer hosting plans and service lifecycles without recreating existing accounts.

Accessing the Screen

Open Products → Servers → Add New Server; select Froxlor under Server Automation Module. Edit existing servers from the Servers list.

Before You Start

You need a working Froxlor panel. Enable external API use under Settings → System settings. Create an administrator key and secret in the top-right API keys menu. Allow customer management, hosting-plan reads and login-link generation. WISECP needs PHP cURL and network access to the panel.

Saved servers offer Preferences, Linked Services and Import in addition to connection settings. Selling hosting requires an active server and a product priced in your chosen currency.

Connection and Product Settings

Address / HostnameBoth required by the form. Hostname must reach the Froxlor web host. The module adds /api.php; do not enter a subdirectory. Defaults: SSL 443, non-SSL 80.
API Key / API SecretBoth are required for API calls, although the custom fields have no required marker. The secret is stored encrypted. Username and Password remain mandatory in the server form; enter the administrator account details. These two fields do not authenticate the Froxlor API.
Verify SSL CertificateEnabled for new records. Keep SSL and verification enabled. Use Custom Port selects a different connection port.
Identity and CapacityMonthly Cost starts at zero; select its currency. Empty Maximum Accounts becomes 200. The occupancy alert uses this cap. Nameservers accepts four entries.
Hosting PlanOptional, under the product's Automation → Module Configuration. Choose a plan name for predictable limits. Selection fills disk, traffic, MySQL, email, FTP and subdomain limits.

Tasks

Connecting the Server

  1. Complete Connection Details, including both API fields. Click Test Connection in the server summary.
  2. The test reads hosting plans. Check success and complete Identity and Capacity. A successful read does not prove customer-write permissions.
  3. Click Add New Server; verify the list entry. Editing uses Save Changes.

Mapping a Hosting Plan

  1. In the hosting product, open Automation → Module Assignment and select Froxlor.
  2. Under Server Configuration, choose Single Server or Server Group. Use matching hosting-plan names across group members.
  3. Select Module Configuration → Hosting Plan and review Resource Limits. Plan selection does not import products or prices.
  4. Keep the first product hidden with Automatic Setup disabled. Click Save Changes; check the saved plan and prices.

Froxlor plans express disk in MB and traffic in GB; WISECP converts traffic to MB. Unlimited flags or -1 mean unlimited. Addon domains, parked domains and hourly email limits have no matching plan field. If plans cannot be read, the product shows a text field; typing a name does not verify it.

One service creates one Froxlor customer with a standard subdomain. It does not add the requested hosting domain separately. Check domains in Froxlor before delivery. The module creates no saleable add-ons or order requirements and provides no module-specific add-on actions.

Linking Existing Customers

  1. On the saved server, click Import → List Results. The list returns the standard subdomain or domain and customer username.
  2. Check missing or duplicate domains, then select accounts and map customer, product, billing cycle and dates.
  3. Click Import below the list. Check Linked Services; existing customers are linked without another panel account.

Managing the Service

Open an existing test service's Management → Overview. Review account status, disk, traffic, email, database, FTP and subdomain counts before enabling automatic setup.

Creation, suspension, unsuspension, termination, password and plan changes are supported. Use the dialogs in Service Management. Under Management → Settings → Change Hosting Plan, choose the plan and click Save Changes; its limits replace the customer's current limits.

Customers open their service's Management tab. Panel access requests a single-use login link valid for 60 seconds. If unavailable, the normal login page opens. File, email, database, FTP, DNS and cron management remain in Froxlor; WISECP exposes no separate hosting tools.

Disk and traffic appear in the overview and metric choices, but this module does not supply automatic billing-usage collection. Do not rely on automatic usage invoices. Metric settings do not raise panel quotas or synchronize prices; verify hosting charges separately.

Things to Watch

Customer-Wide Changes

Suspension affects the whole customer account. Termination deletes the customer and requests deletion of user files. Back up before termination. Plan changes replace resource limits; verify customer-specific limits after changing the plan.

Required Permissions

Server settings require MODULES_SERVERS_SETTINGS; product editing requires PRODUCTS_OPERATION. Service actions require their respective service permissions.
