InternetBS

Connect your InternetBS account to manage domain orders, DNS records and customer services through WISECP.

Access the Screen

Open Products → Domains → Domain Name Registrars → All Modules → InternetBS: {admin}/module/registrars?module=InternetBS.

What Is on the Screen

Module Settings contains the API connection. Import lists account domains. Import Extensions retrieves registration, transfer and renewal costs.

API and IP Permissions

  1. In your Internet.bs account, open My Account → Get my API key. Read the API access guide; paid operations debit your prepaid balance.
  2. Set a dedicated API password under My Account → Account Security → Change API password. Enter the current password and new API password, then click SAVE.
  3. Open My Account → My Profile → Reseller Settings. Add your WISECP server's outbound IP to API allowed IP address(es) and save. Use the server IP, not your computer's IP; see the IP access guide.
  4. For testing, use the test access in the provider's current API documentation. Do not substitute live keys for test access; the test environment has separate data.

Settings

API KeyRequired; initially empty. Enter the key for the selected environment.
API PasswordRequired; initially empty. Use the API password associated with the key.
Test ModeDisabled by default. Uses testapi.internet.bs when enabled and api.internet.bs otherwise. This option does not fill test credentials automatically.
Default NameserversFour initially empty fields; the first two have required markers. Service defaults use system nameservers if both are not provided.
Automatic Cost UpdatesDisabled by default. Enables scheduled cost updates.
Cost CurrencyPrices are converted into this currency. Check exchange rates and selling price rules before importing.

Tasks

Connect the Account

  1. In Module Settings, enable Test Mode and enter the test key and password.
  2. Click Test Connection at the bottom of the form. It queries the domain list; it does not verify purchases or every management operation.
  3. After success, click Save Changes and reopen the form. No separate server record is needed.
  4. Verify the test workflow before sales. Prepare live credentials and IP access, disable testing, test the connection and save.

Assign Extensions

  1. Review prices in Import Extensions. Select rows and click Import; existing prices can also change.
  2. Under Products → Domains, select InternetBS in the extension's Registrar field. Click Update Extensions.
  3. Review periods and selling prices in the row's Pricing window. Click Save Changes and verify the assignment.

Existing Domains

In Import, assign a customer to the domain and click Import. Create the extension first. Check the resulting service name, customer and dates. Expired or unknown domains are excluded from the list; this operation is not a registrar transfer.

Domain Operations

Registration, transfer using an EPP code, renewal and date/status synchronization are implemented. Enter a valid EPP code before initiating a transfer; do not submit without one. Restore and DNSSEC are not implemented in this module.

Open the domain under Orders → Services. DNS manages nameservers, child nameservers and provider DNS records. Use the full domain name for DNS records. A new record's TTL below 3600 seconds becomes 7207 seconds.

WHOIS provides contact and privacy operations; privacy activation/cancellation also depends on the service addon. Transfer includes lock management and Get Transfer (EPP) Code.

Domain Forwarding supports 301/302; Email Forwarding provides source/destination address operations. WISECP may show forwarding as disabled when it exists; check the result in Internet.bs. Customer management depends on permissions and active addons.

Things to Consider

Costs and DNS

Live registration, transfer and renewal debit your balance; check premium prices separately. DNS deletion can affect records with the same name/type. Editing a child nameserver deletes and recreates it; back up records first.

Troubleshooting

For authorization errors, check the API password, environment and allowed outbound IP. For DNS errors, check full record names and provider nameservers. Reduce request frequency and check provider limits for quota errors. Read your account's order status before resubmitting pending orders.

Required Permissions

Setup requires Domain Name Registrars permission. Service operations require their corresponding permissions.
