Proxmox VE Module

126 vues Markdown

Sell virtual servers from your own Proxmox VE cluster. Paid orders are created automatically, and each customer manages their own guest without reaching your cluster.

Reaching the Screen

Go to Products → Hosting Server → Proxmox VE: {admin}/proxmoxve

Premium Feature

This module is included with the Business Plan at no additional cost. On other WISECP license plans you can add it to your existing license.

The License Does Not Open the Menu

An active server record must use this module. The address stays unavailable until you add one.

Connect Your Cluster

  1. In Proxmox VE, open Datacenter → Permissions → API Tokens and create a token. Turn privilege separation off, otherwise the token cannot create guests.
  2. Copy the secret. Proxmox shows it once.
  3. In WISECP, open Products → Hosting Server and click Add New Server.
  4. Under Server Automation Module, choose Virtualization, then Proxmox VE.
  5. Enter your node address in Address. The port stays 8006.
  6. Fill API Token ID and API Token Secret.
  7. Enter the address ranges you hand out in IPv4 Pool and IPv6 Pool.
  8. Click Test Connection, then Add New Server.
  9. The record is created as active and the menu appears.

What the Screen Shows

This screen is a console over your own hardware. It reads every connected server once and reports what is actually running.

  • Summary row — how many servers, nodes and guests you have, and how many guests are running.
  • Connected servers — each server with its address, Proxmox version, node count and guest count. A server that cannot be reached is marked Unreachable.
  • Nodes — every node with its state, processor load, memory use and root disk use.
  • Storage pools — every pool with its type, what it holds and how full it is.

The screen never changes anything on the cluster. Guests are created and managed through products and services.

Before You Start

  • A reachable Proxmox VE 7 or 8 cluster.
  • An API token created with privilege separation off.
  • A KVM template on the cluster, or an LXC template on a storage pool.
  • Address ranges you own, entered on the server record.

Server Record Values

These values live on the server record, not on this screen. Open Products → Hosting Server and edit the server to change them.

API Token IDRequired. The token identifier, such as root@pam!wisecp.
API Token SecretRequired. Stored encrypted. Proxmox shows it only when the token is created.
IPv4 PoolThe IPv4 ranges handed to guests, with their gateway and mask. Leave empty if you assign addresses yourself.
IPv6 PoolThe IPv6 ranges handed to guests.
Console Cookie DomainOptional. The domain the console cookie is written for when your panel and cluster share a parent domain.

Tasks

Check Whether a Server Answers

  1. Find the server in Connected servers.
  2. Click the plug button at the end of its row.
  3. A success message reports the Proxmox version. An error message reports what the cluster returned.

Turn a Node Into a Product

  1. Open Products → Add New Product and choose the server product type.
  2. Select this server, then pick the node, storage pool and template.
  3. Set the processor, memory and disk the plan includes.
  4. Publish the product. Paid orders are created on the cluster automatically.

Points to Watch

  • A server that does not answer is skipped, and the rest of the list is still shown. Its row carries the Unreachable mark, and the reason appears when you hover it.
  • Without a license the console is blurred and provisioning stops. Existing guests keep running, and your servers and products are kept.
  • Cancelling a service deletes the guest on the cluster. Suspending it does not.
  • Extra processor, memory, disk, address and backup capacity are sold as add-ons. A customer can only use what the add-on allows.

Privileges

This screen requires the Product Operations privilege. Staff without it do not see the menu entry.
