SMS
Choose local and international SMS providers and control where SMS delivery is offered, so notifications and API-originated messages use the intended route.
Reaching the Screen
Go to Settings → SMS: {admin}/modules/sms
What Is on the Screen
The Initial tab separates the default provider from the international provider and holds the sales options. The All Modules tab opens each provider's credentials and module options.

Select SMS providers
- On the All Modules tab, click the provider's card, enter its credentials and click Save Changes.
- On the Initial tab, pick the primary provider from Enabled Module Selection.
- Click Save Changes. Notification SMS go out through this provider.
Enable international SMS
- On the Initial tab, pick a provider from International Service Module.
- Tick the International SMS Service Sales box that appears.
- Click Save Changes. The international SMS route becomes available through that provider.
Send verification codes through NetGSM OTP
- On the All Modules tab, click the Netgsm card.
- Tick Send via OTP and click Save Changes.
- Two-step sign-in codes and phone verification codes now go out through the NetGSM OTP service. Other SMS keep using your regular credit.
Things to Watch
OTP sends do not use your regular SMS credit; NetGSM offers this service with a separate OTP package. According to NetGSM's documentation, the OTP service sends to numbers in Türkiye. Turkish characters in an OTP message are converted to Latin letters. The option works while Netgsm is selected in Enabled Module Selection.
While Enabled Module Selection is empty, the system sends no SMS at all. Notifications that would go by SMS are not queued, so the Notification Queue shows no failed SMS rows. Their e-mail copies still go out. Bulk SMS sends and the API are refused with "SMS module not configured".
If saving reports that a file cannot be written, the save did not complete. The file named in the message, or its folder, belongs to another user. When scheduled tasks run as root, that user is often root. Make them owned by the user your site runs as, then save again. Your hosting provider can do this for you. Privileges
The SMS Settings (MODULES_SMS_SETTINGS) privilege is required.
