See how many services and how much revenue each product, cycle and category brought in a period, and how many are active.
Opening the Screen
Open WAnalytics, then choose Services and By Product in the left rail: {admin}/wanalytics/services/by-products
The period, the cycle and the category selection travel in the address, so they stay when you reload the page or change the period: {admin}/wanalytics/services/by-products?filter[range]=2026-07-01 - 2026-07-31&filter[cycle]=annually&filter[svc_type]=hosting
While All Time is selected, the address holds filter[range]=all.
What Is on the Screen
The report opens with six figures for the chosen period, then a ranked list of categories, then the product register. The information mark next to the title repeats what the report is for.
Services
How many services were created in the period. Cancelled ones stay out.
Revenue
What those services are worth, converted into the installation's local currency.
Products
How many separate products the report found in the period. A product split over several register rows counts once; for domain names, each extension is one product.
Categories
How many service categories appear in the period. The category selector names them: Hosting, Domain, Server, Software and Other Services.
Active
Services whose status is active.
Inactive
Services that are not active: waiting, in process, suspended, expired or completed. Active plus Inactive equals the Services figure.
Top Categories
The categories ordered by how many services they hold, each with its count and share of the total.
Register
One row per product, cycle and status, ordered by service count. Monthly and yearly services of one product, or its active and inactive ones, sit on separate rows. The cycle and category selectors, search, page size and download sit around it.
Fields
Date Range
The period the whole report is built from. Quick ranges sit in the calendar-range menu beside the field: Today, Yesterday, Last 7 Days, Last 30 Days, This Month, Last Month, This Year, Last Year. All Time, below the divider, covers everything from the first service record up to today. Your own dates are picked in the calendar. Not required; until you choose one, the last 30 days apply.
Apply
The button beside the date field. It opens the report again with the range that stands in the box, even when you have not changed it.
All Cycles
Narrows the register to one cycle, such as only the services billed annually. The choices are the cycles of the period's services, named as in the Cycle column. Not required; the default keeps every cycle.
All Categories
Narrows the register to one category. Not required; the default keeps every category.
Search...
Matches the product name in the register. A domain extension can be searched with its dot, such as .com.
Product
The product name. Domain names are gathered under their extension instead of a product.
Cycle
The billing cycle of the services, such as Monthly, Annually or One Time. A non-standard term shows its own length, such as 4 Years.
Category
Which service category the row belongs to.
Services
How many services matching the row's product, cycle and status were created in the period.
Revenue
Total value of those services.
Status
The status of the services on the row: Active or Inactive.
Tasks
Change the period
- Click the date field at the top right of the report.
- Pick a ready choice. Figures, ranked list and register all move to that period at once.
- For your own dates, click the date field, mark a start and an end in the calendar, then close it (click outside); the page reloads with that range.
Narrow the register by cycle or category
- Open the All Cycles or All Categories selector above the register.
- Choose a cycle or a category. The register comes back with only the matching rows; with both chosen, a row must match both.
- To go back, choose All Cycles or All Categories again.
Download the register
- Click the download button beside the search box.
- Choose CSV, JSON or XML.
- The file carries every row that matches the chosen cycle, category and search, not only the page on screen.
Things to Watch
The cycle and category selections reach the register only
The figures and the Top Categories list always cover the whole period. Choosing a cycle or a category changes the register underneath them, so a total above will look larger than the rows below add up to.
Domain names are gathered by extension
Every domain service joins the row of its extension, so a single .com row can hold hundreds of names. Products of other kinds keep one row each.
Cancelled services are not here
The report answers what was sold in the period and leaves cancelled services out of every figure. They have their own report.
Required Privileges
Reaching the report needs the WANALYTICS privilege. The download button appears for staff who also hold the table export permission.
