METUnic
Connect your METUnic reseller account to register, renew and manage .tr and other extensions from WISECP.
Accessing the Screen
Open Products → Domains → Domain Name Registrars → All Modules → METUnic: {admin}/module/registrars?module=METUnic.
What Is on the Screen
Module Settings holds the credit balance, credentials, test mode, default nameservers and cost settings. Import lists the domains held by the account. Import Extensions lists the extensions METUnic sells with their current costs.
Preparing API Access
- Sign in to the METUnic client portal and ask the partnership team for reseller API access if it is not enabled. The API user name is the e-mail address of the reseller account.
- Load prepaid credit into the account. Every registration and renewal is paid from this balance; a request without enough credit is refused by METUnic.
- For testing, request separate credentials for api-test.metunic.com.tr. A live account cannot sign in there.

Tasks
Connecting and Testing
- Enter API Username and API Password; check Test Mode only with test credentials.
- Click Test Connection beside Save Changes. The test signs in; it places no order.
- Click Save Changes and reopen the page. The Credit Balance row now shows the account balance.
Importing Extensions and Domains
- Open Import Extensions. The list covers .com, .net, .org, .info, .me, .pro, .name, .cc, .tv and the .tr family with METUnic costs. Select the extensions you sell and click Import; they appear under Products → Domains with METUnic assigned.
- Open Import. Domains already held in the account are listed with their dates. Assign a customer to each row and click Import; a local service is created without any purchase.
- A domain whose extension is not defined under Products → Domains is skipped, and the result message names each skipped domain with its reason.
Registration, Transfer and Renewal
A .tr registration for a person needs the registrant's national identity number; a company needs its tax office and tax number. These come from the extension's document fields or from the customer's address. The registrant's country and city must match METUnic's own lists. Other extensions are registered with the WHOIS contact details.
Inbound transfers work for non-.tr names with the authorization code. Renewals use the requested year count and are paid from the credit balance.
Managing a Domain
Open the domain under Orders → Services. DNS changes nameservers, child nameservers and A, AAAA, MX, NS and TXT records; SRV and CAA are not offered. WHOIS updates contacts for non-.tr names and shows the holder read-only for .tr names. Transfer manages the lock and reads the EPP code for non-.tr names. WHOIS privacy is not available.
Things to Consider
The METUnic API offers no transfer, transfer lock or holder change for .tr names. Start those from the METUnic panel; WISECP explains this when such an action is attempted.
A registration or renewal with insufficient credit fails at METUnic and the service stays pending. Check the balance row before repeating a failed request.
Required Permissions
Setup requires Domain Name Registrars permission. Service operations require their corresponding service permissions.
