Connect HestiaCP to automate hosting accounts and give clients website, email and backup tools in WISECP.

Opening the Screen

Open Products → Hosting & Servers → Server Settings → Add New Server. Under Server Automation Module → Web Hosting, select HestiaCP.

{admin}/products/servers-add. Click an existing server’s name to edit it.

Before You Connect

Enable HestiaCP’s API and allow your WISECP server’s outgoing IP in its API IP list. Use an administrator access key authorized for user/package listing, account management and every enabled tool. In HestiaCP’s account settings, open Access Keys → Add Access key, choose permission sets and click Save. Copy both key parts before leaving. Access key instructions.

Enter ACCESS_KEY:SECRET_KEY in WISECP’s API Key field. HestiaCP considers legacy API keys and password authentication deprecated; prefer access keys. HestiaCP API configuration.

Prepare HestiaCP packages, installed PHP versions and the web, mail, DNS, FTP or backup services you intend to offer. Use an active WISECP server record and a Hosting product. Set sale prices and billing currency in WISECP; there is no provider-price catalogue import.

Connection and Product Settings

Address / HostnameBoth are required. Address is the connection host; Hostname names the record. Do not include a URL path. Both module port defaults are 8083.
Username / Password / API KeyUsername is required by the form. Supply API Key or Password; a supplied key takes precedence. Keep existing password dots unchanged when editing.
Verify SSL CertificateOn for new records. Keep HTTPS and certificate verification enabled. Use Custom Port enables a different panel port.
Identity and CapacityMonthly Cost starts at zero; select its currency. Empty Maximum Accounts becomes 200. Occupancy alerts use that limit. Nameservers accepts four lines.

Module Configuration

After selecting the server, open the product’s Automation → Module Configuration section.

PackageOptional. Choose an existing HestiaCP package by name. Empty uses default during account creation. Available package limits fill WISECP resource fields.
PHP VersionOptional. Server Default is selected initially. Installed backend templates provide the choices; the selection applies to the primary domain.

Tasks

Connect the Server

  1. Complete Connection Details and click Test Connection in the server summary.
  2. Confirm the result. The test lists HestiaCP users; it does not prove provisioning or permissions for every tool.
  3. Complete Identity and Capacity and click Add New Server. Confirm the list entry; editing uses Save Changes.

Map a Hosting Product

  1. Open a Hosting product’s Automation tab and choose HestiaCP under Module Assignment.
  2. Under Server Configuration, select Single Server or Server Group. Group members need matching package names and PHP templates.
  3. Choose Package and PHP Version under Module Configuration. Review Resource Limits; selecting a package does not import products or prices.
  4. Keep the initial product hidden with Automatic Setup off. Click Save Changes, then reopen Automation to verify the saved selections.

In the product’s Add-ons tab, map Shell Access when selling SSH access. Activating/restoring this add-on enables bash; suspension or cancellation sets nologin. Selecting HestiaCP does not create saleable add-ons automatically. Provisioning creates the user and primary web domain.

Import Existing Accounts

  1. Open the saved server’s Import tab and click List Results. The list excludes admin and chooses a primary domain per user.
  2. Select accounts and match client, product, billing cycle and dates. Check the domain choice; existing domain matches prevent duplicate service links.
  3. Click Import below the list, then check Linked Services. This links existing accounts without creating them again.

Manage Services and Tools

Open a service’s Management → Overview for actions and tools. Management → Settings → Package changes the package and reapplies its limits. Service Management explains action windows and confirmations.

Administrators can create, suspend, reactivate, terminate, change passwords, switch packages and adjust supported account limits. Restoring package limits reapplies the selected package. Both administrator and client panel links open HestiaCP’s login page; enter your credentials there.

Under the saved server’s Preferences → Client Area Preferences, select tools and click Save Changes. Product restrictions and service Preferences also apply. Clients open their service’s Management tab.

Tools: FTP Accounts, Backups, Databases, Addon Domains, Subdomains, DNS Zone Editor, Email Accounts, Email Forwarders, Webmail, PHP Version, Cron Jobs and SSL Management. FTP supports create/edit/delete without quota. Databases pair the database/user; separate user and privilege controls are unavailable. Domains support create/delete without editing or custom subdomain roots. DNS, email and forwarders support create/edit/delete; PHP applies per domain.

Backups can be created, restored and deleted; downloading is unavailable. Cron supports create/edit/delete without notification email. SSL offers Let’s Encrypt issuance and removal, without custom certificate upload or reinstall. Webmail opens the webmail page.

Disk, bandwidth, email, database and addon-domain usage can feed enabled metrics. Scheduled collection does not synchronize package prices. Inspect an existing test service’s overview and enabled tools before automatic setup.

Things to Watch

Data and Access

Termination deletes the user and their data. Backup restoration replaces current content; backup deletion removes that recovery copy. Lower quotas can restrict existing usage. Shell Access grants command-line access. Hosting and optional provider services can incur charges.

Required Privileges

Server settings require MODULES_SERVERS_SETTINGS; product changes require PRODUCTS_OPERATION. Administrator panel sign-in requires MODULES_ROOT_LOGIN_BUTTON. Service actions require their corresponding service privileges.
