Hexonet
Connect an existing Hexonet account to register, transfer and manage eligible domains through WISECP.
Access the Screen
Open: Products → Domains → Domain Name Registrars → All Modules → Hexonet: {admin}/module/registrars?module=Hexonet.
What Is on the Screen
The screen contains Module Settings, Import and Import Extensions tabs.
Prepare the Provider Account
Hexonet stopped accepting new customers on 7 August 2023. New resellers are directed to CentralNic; see account eligibility. Confirm your existing account’s platform before selecting a module. Hexonet and CentralNic credentials are not interchangeable by assumption.
Allow HTTPS access to api.ispapi.net; test requests use api-ote.ispapi.net. Prepare separate OT&E credentials and any account IP permissions. PHP cURL is required; PHP intl supports local IDN conversion.

Connect and Test
- Enable the test option and enter the test account.
- Click Test Connection. It checks account access with StatusUser. It does not validate prices, DNS zones or a paid registration.
- Click Save Changes and reopen the form. No separate WISECP server record is required.
- Switch to live credentials after verifying test operations. Keep test extensions unavailable for sale.
Import Extensions and Prices
In Import Extensions, select extensions and a profit rate, then import. Existing provider assignments and prices can change; new extensions are created inactive. The catalog uses account TLD relations and annual prices. Extensions without annual pricing are skipped; transfer cost can fall back to the annual amount. Imported 1–10 year limits and capability flags are generic. Confirm each extension’s actual rules and premium charges before sale.
Existing Domains
The domain list supports importing existing Hexonet domains into WISECP. First define the extension, then select the domain and its existing customer under Import. Import creates an active service record; it does not transfer the domain. Check the customer, annual period, price, dates and nameservers after importing one domain.
Manage the Service
Registration, incoming transfer, renewal, restore, nameserver changes, transfer locking and date synchronization are implemented. Open the domain under Orders → Services. Transfers can remain pending until provider completion; check rejected requests in the provider portal.
DNS supports provider-zone records: A, AAAA, CNAME, MX, TXT, NS, SRV and CAA. Prepare the zone first. DS records can be listed, added and deleted when enabled. Child nameservers can be added, edited and deleted; deletion removes the whole host.
WHOIS supports contact updates and privacy switching where the extension allows them. A rejected registrant name or company change can fall back to a TradeDomain ownership operation. Confirm its fees before saving.
Under Transfer, EPP retrieval for .de and .eu can request delivery without displaying a code. Check the registrant’s mailbox. Other extensions read the available auth code.
URL and email forwarding use provider DNS records. Selecting 302 creates masked FRAME forwarding, not a conventional HTTP 302 response. Email forwarding supports catch-all addresses.
Things to Consider
Live registration, transfer, renewal, restore and ownership changes can incur charges. Local suspension or cancellation does not cancel a provider domain or stop its billing.
For access errors, check environment, password, subuser, outgoing IP and proxy. For premium domains, confirm the provider’s required price acceptance before registration. Empty DNS results do not prove a zone exists.
Required Permissions
Setup requires Domain Name Registrars permission. Service operations depend on the corresponding administrator or client permissions and provider account access.
