Client Detail Overview

1.3k visualizzazioni Markdown

One client, gathered on a single page. Who they are, what they bought, what they owe and everything that has happened on the account.

Opening the Screen

Open a client from the list or from any client link in the panel. The address carries the record and the open tab, so you can share the exact page: {admin}/users/detail?id={client}.

What Is on the Screen

The header strip

Above the tabs, the client's name sits next to a row of chips.

Status Active, blocked, inactive or blacklisted.
Group The client group.
Affiliate / Reseller Shown when the client has that role; both link to their own tab.
Warnings An unverified e-mail address or phone number.
Billing flags Exemptions set on this client, such as never suspend, never cancel or no late fee. They stay on until you remove them.

The tabs

Summary Money owed, service and order totals, contact details and account facts.
Profile Personal and company details, security, saved cards and custom fields.
Contacts Billing profiles - additional people and addresses invoices can be issued to.
Sub-Accounts Other users allowed into this account, with the permissions granted to each.
Invoices Every invoice for this client with its status.
Products & Services Orders and the services they produced.
Support Requests The client's tickets.
Affiliate The partner account: referrals, earnings and withdrawals.
Reseller The reseller account, when the client has one.
Messages Notifications sent to this client, and what they contained.
Activity Logs Sign-ins and actions on the account, with address and device.
Notes Internal notes. Clients never see them.

Most tabs are listed even when empty. The Reseller tab appears only when the reseller system is switched on for the whole installation.

Tasks

Work inside the client's own panel

  1. Click Sign In as Client in the header of the record.
  2. The client area opens as that client, in a separate tab, without needing their password. It uses the client's language, or the site default if none is set. Your admin session stays open.
  3. The session ends by itself after two hours, and at once when you sign out of the panel. To continue, click the button again.
  4. A client without a password cannot be opened; set one first with Change Password on the Profile tab.

Block a client

  1. Set the account status to blocked from the record.
  2. Sign-in closes immediately. Orders, services and invoices are untouched.
  3. Blocking is reversible; deleting is not.

Add the client to the blacklist

  1. Click Add to Blacklist in the account status strip. At the top of the window, two marks next to the client's identity strip show how many active services and unpaid invoices the restrictions would touch. Pick a Reason from the list and add notes if you want.
  2. Under Screenshots you can attach evidence images (PNG or JPG, up to 10). Only signed-in staff can open them.
  3. Under Restrictions, tick what the entry should enforce and confirm. The entry keeps the reason, the date and your name; the strip shows a badge for each active restriction. From then on the client's rows in the search palette and the client list carry a Blacklisted badge.

Each restriction works on its own and takes effect immediately:

Block new orders The client cannot place a new order from the site or through their API keys.
Block renewals The client cannot create renewal invoices or turn on automatic renewal. Automation stops issuing renewal invoices for them too. You can still renew from the panel.
Block tickets The client cannot open new support tickets. The ticket form is replaced by a notice. It is the same control as Ticket Blocked on the Profile tab; changing one changes the other. The box comes ticked when the account is already blocked.
Suspend services All active services are suspended right away.

Edit the blacklist entry

  1. Click Remove from Blacklist in the account status strip, then Edit at the bottom of the window.
  2. Change the Reason, the notes or the ticked Restrictions. Tick a stored screenshot to remove it, or add new ones under Screenshots.
  3. When you untick Suspend services, a Reactivate suspended services option appears; leave it ticked to bring the services back. Save to apply. The original author and date stay on the entry.

Remove the client from the blacklist

  1. Click Remove from Blacklist in the account status strip. The window opens with the same identity strip and impact marks at the top. Below them it shows who added the entry, when and why, with any screenshots.
  2. Tick Reactivate suspended services if the suspended services should come back, then confirm. All restrictions stop at once. Ticket Blocked on the Profile tab turns off as well, so the client can open tickets again.

Delete a client

  1. On the Summary tab, click Delete Account Permanently in the Actions card.
  2. In Delete Account Confirmation, enter your own panel password and click Delete Permanently.
  3. If the client has services, each one is terminated on its server and removed in turn, with a progress bar. If one fails, the window shows the reason and a Retry button.
  4. The client is deleted with the last service, or at once if there are none, and the client list opens.

Deleting removes the client's orders, invoices, support requests and notifications, each with its history. Its saved cards, passkeys, trusted devices, WHOIS profiles, SMS address book and sender IDs and affiliate account go too. Document verification and service documents are deleted with their files. Its comments are deleted with their replies, and its helpful votes on other comments are taken back. Its license transfers go too; an open one is first cancelled with its unpaid fee invoice, without notifying anyone.

Add-ons clear their own data: identity verification sessions, reverse DNS permissions, block-list exemptions and record templates are deleted. IP addresses and subnets reserved for the client are released. DNS zones stay live without an owner; delete them under Advanced DNS Management → Maintenance → Zones nobody claims. An add-on that is turned off or unlicensed keeps its data.

A queued email, such as a data removal approval, still goes out. The payment provider keeps its own copy of a saved card, and the activity log keeps the deletion entry.

Things to Watch

The client never sees the reason you picked

Every blocked action shows the client the same neutral Terms of Service message. The message links to your terms page. Unpaid invoices stay payable.

A ticket block does not need a blacklist entry

Ticket Blocked under Security on the Profile tab works on any client. On a client that is not blacklisted, the block stays until you turn the option off.

Signing in as a client is a real session

Everything you do there happens as the client, on their live account. It is the fastest way to see what they see. It is also the fastest way to place an order in their name by accident.

The client is not told about the session: it does not appear in their Active Sessions list or in their activity feed. It is recorded on your side only. It does not change the client's stored IP address, last sign-in, location or time zone. The client's Login Records, and the Session Logs under Tools, show the row as Staff Session with your name. The session also closes when the client signs out everywhere, when your account is deactivated, or when it loses the client management privilege.

Required Privileges

The record opens with a privilege from the USERS group. Changing anything needs USERS_OPERATION, deleting needs USERS_DELETE, and the credit, reseller, affiliate and personal-data areas have their own privileges (USERS_MANAGE_CREDIT, USERS_DEALERSHIP, USERS_AFFILIATE, USERS_GDPR).
