Connect InternetX to manage domain orders and AutoDNS records from WISECP services.

Access the Screen

Open Products → Domains → Domain Name Registrars → All Modules → InternetX: {admin}/module/registrars?module=InternetX.

What Is on the Screen

Module Settings contains connection and domain defaults. Import lists existing domains. Import Extensions lists the extensions and costs from the AutoDNS XML price list.

Prepare AutoDNS Access

1. Obtain an AutoDNS account with domain, contact and zone permissions. If access is restricted by IP, allow your WISECP server's outgoing IP.
2. Confirm your username, password and context using the authentication documentation. This module does not send a two-factor token.
3. Request a separate sandbox account from InternetX. Confirm both XML and JSON endpoints for that account; see AutoDNS testing.
4. To import extension prices, activate the XML PRICELIST product in AutoDNS under Services → Products & Services → APIs & Services. Allow your WISECP server's IP address there and keep the price list username and password it issues.
5. Check your balance and extension requirements before live sales. No separate WISECP server record is needed.

Connect and Test

1. In Module Settings, enter the sandbox credentials, context and both endpoint settings. Enable Sandbox / Test Mode.
2. Click Test Connection at the bottom. It requests XML details for test.com and accepts “Domain could not be found”; it purchases nothing.
3. Click Save Changes, then reopen the form. This test does not validate JSON availability, DNS access or purchasing permissions.
4. Keep test extensions unavailable for sale. Verify sandbox service operations before replacing all environment settings with live values.

Import Extensions and Prices

1. Open the Import Extensions tab. The list shows every extension in the price list with registration, renewal and transfer costs.
2. Tick the extensions you sell and click Import. Each extension appears under Products → Domains as inactive, with costs and selling prices for every year and active currency. Selling prices apply your domain profit rate.
3. Open the row's Pricing window to adjust selling prices, then click Save Changes. Activate the extension when it is ready for sale.
4. Enable Automatic Cost Updates to refresh costs daily; selling prices follow the profit rate.

Import Existing Domains

In Import, find the domain, assign its customer and click Import. Define its extension first. Check the resulting service, contacts and dates. This creates a WISECP service; it does not transfer the domain between registrars. The provider list request is limited to 9,999 entries.

Manage Domains

Registration, incoming transfer, renewal and date/status synchronization are implemented. Complete required contacts and registry-specific eligibility information. Confirm pending transfers in AutoDNS before retrying.

Open the domain under Orders → Services. DNS supports nameserver changes and records in an existing AutoDNS zone. DNS edits replace the zone's record set; record TTL changes are not preserved by this module.

WHOIS supports contacts and privacy where the registry permits. Shared contact changes can affect other domains. Transfer offers locking and Get Transfer (EPP) Code; .de/.eu code retrieval can create new authorization information.

Child nameserver management, DNSSEC, restore, URL forwarding and email forwarding are not implemented here. Customer controls also depend on permissions and purchased addons.

Required Permissions

Setup requires Domain Name Registrars permission. Domain service actions require their corresponding permissions.
