Payment Configuration
Connect your payment provider account to WISECP and choose the methods, order and card storage offered to clients.
Reaching the Screen
Go to Settings → Financial → Payment Gateways: {admin}/module/payment.
What Is on the Screen
Set up each provider on its card under All Modules, then manage offered methods, their order and card storage under Initial.
All Modules offers name search, status and, where available, category and region filters; on narrow screens, open Filters & Search.
Fields
Provider Settings
Besides account credentials, a module card may include these shared options.
- Status → Enable: makes the module available; account fields may be disabled while unchecked.
- Commission Rate (%): the percentage added to a client’s payment with this method; leave empty for none. Negative rates are not saved. Changing the rate or disabling the method recalculates its unpaid invoices, except partially paid ones. The invoice history records it. Re-enabling does not restore removed commission. In 5.0-beta.3 and earlier, open invoices keep the old rate.
- Provider Fee Rate (%): the provider’s share of each payment, used only for estimated cost in reports, never charged to the client. Leave empty if unknown. Not in 5.0-beta.3 and earlier.
- Converting Currency: sets the currency sent to the provider. None applies no forced conversion.
- Accepted Amount Range: lower and upper bounds, and their currency.
- Accepted Countries: empty means no restriction; otherwise the method appears only in those countries. Unaccepted Countries excludes selected countries. Both follow the billing country (outside checkout, the default billing profile's).
- Update Subscription Fee: supported modules apply price changes to existing subscriptions. See Subscriptions.
- Callback URL, Success URL, Failed URL: addresses the provider may need; the module guide says where each belongs.
Tasks
Connect a Provider Account
- Prepare your provider account; the module guide below covers approval, credentials and notifications.
- Open the provider’s card under All Modules; where present, check Status → Enable to make the settings editable.
- Complete account credentials and the options you need.
- Click Save Changes. Saving an enabled module adds it to your payment methods; check its selection under Initial.
Choose Methods to Offer Clients
- Open Initial.
- Under Enabled Module Selection, select the configured methods and remove those you do not offer.
- Click Save Changes. Eligible methods appear on the client’s payment screen.
Reorder Payment Methods
- Under Initial → Enabled Module Selection, drag a selected module to its new position.
- Click Save Changes. Checkout, invoice and bulk payment, and adding funds list eligible methods in this order, the first one selected.
Choose a Card Storage Provider
- Under Initial → Card Storage Module, choose your configured provider; only card storage modules are listed. It stays selected under Enabled Module Selection until you change it or select None.
- Click Save Changes. New card storage operations use this provider; clients see Credit or Debit Card at its position.
Set Amount Limits
- On the provider’s card under All Modules, find Accepted Amount Range, if available.
- Fill in Minimum Accepted Amount and Maximum Accepted Amount, then select the Limit Currency. Leave unwanted bounds empty; the upper bound cannot be below the lower bound.
- Click Save Changes. The method is offered when the payable total is within the range; the check uses the total before commission and installment charge.
Turn Off Balance Top-Ups
In the Account Balance card, clear Allow Top-Ups and save. Add-funds pages and links are hidden and top-ups are refused; existing balances still pay invoices.
Things to Watch
Methods outside their amount or country conditions are hidden, as is one whose limit currency cannot be converted. Guests never see Bank Transfer or Account Balance; if only these fit, checkout asks the guest to sign in. Keep at least one method for your clients’ amounts and countries, and one guests can use.
Use the provider’s test account and module guide to check payment results reach WISECP. A live account test can create a real charge.
Saved cards belong to their provider; choosing another module does not move them. Check card storage, automatic payment and subscription support in the module guide.
A refused payment shows a failure notice at checkout. Any reason the provider sent appears under it and in Tools → Module Logs.
If saving reports an unwritable file, nothing was saved: the file or folder belongs to another user, often root. Give it to your site’s user (or ask your host) and save again; Scheduled Tasks Setup covers running cron as that user.
A badged module (today Payguru, RavePay, Payeer, Coinbase Commerce) works only where already enabled; once switched off, it cannot be enabled again.
iPara and PosFix charge only in Turkish lira, PayFast only in rand (ZAR). Other currencies are refused unless Converting Currency is that currency; then the payment is converted. iPara and PosFix record it in TRY. From 5.0-beta.4 (or with the 5.0-beta.3 fix package), PayFast charges a subscription renewal at most once a day, and a subscription cancelled at PayFast shows as cancelled.
A module reporting the charged amount records a smaller charge as a partial payment; the invoice stays Unpaid. From 5.0-beta.4 (or with the 5.0-beta.3 fix package) more modules report it, including PayTR, iyzico, Yapı Kredi, Adyen, Braintree, Klarna and Square. Automatic payment records a smaller saved-card charge the same way.
