Connect your TheSSLStore partner account to sell its SSL certificates with automatic ordering and margin-based prices.

Accessing the Screen

Go to Products → Product Group Modules, open All Modules and click the TheSSLStore card. Address: {admin}/modules/product?module=TheSSLStore.

Screen Overview

SettingsPartner credentials, the environment switches and the connection test.
CatalogCreates products from the TheSSLStore catalog and keeps their prices current.
ImportLinks a certificate already ordered at TheSSLStore to a client as a service.

Before You Start

Generate the Partner Code and Auth Token under API Settings in your TheSSLStore partner account. Certificate orders are charged to that account. An account opened on the EU platform needs the EU endpoint.

Settings Fields

Partner CodeRequired. The partner code from your TheSSLStore API settings.
Auth TokenRequired. Saved encrypted and shown masked. Leave it blank to keep the saved token.
Sandbox ModeOn by default. Orders go to the sandbox and are not billed. Live credentials fail there, so turn it off for a live account.
EU EndpointOff by default. Select it only for an EU platform account. It has no effect while Sandbox Mode is on.

Tasks

Connecting the Account

  1. On the Settings tab, enter Partner Code and Auth Token. Set Sandbox Mode and EU Endpoint for that account.
  2. Click Test Connection. It checks the values in the form against the selected environment, without saving them.
  3. Click Save Changes below the form. A confirmation message appears.

Importing the Catalog

  1. Open the Catalog tab and enter Profit Margin (%). The default is 30.
  2. Click Import Catalog. The message counts the products created and those that already existed.
  3. The table lists every certificate with its cost and sale price. Rows not yet imported are marked Not imported.

The import creates the SSL Certificates category with DV, OV and EV subcategories. It also adds the order requirements, such as the CSR code and validation method. Certificates with SAN pricing get an Additional SANs add-on. Running it again only adds what is missing. Terms longer than three years are skipped.

Keeping Prices Current

Click Sync Prices to reread the costs and reapply the margin to imported products and SAN add-ons. Turn on Automatic Price Update to repeat this every day through scheduled tasks.

Importing an Existing Certificate

  1. Open the Import tab. It requires at least one product that uses this module.
  2. Enter the Order ID, then choose Client, Product and Billing Cycle.
  3. Click Import. The certificate becomes a service of that client, dated from the TheSSLStore order.

Products and the Client Area

Each product sells one certificate. On the product's Automation tab, Module Configuration holds TheSSLStore Certificate and Included SANs. Imported products have Automatic Setup on, so a paid order is placed at TheSSLStore without approval.

In the client area, the customer can reissue the certificate, resend or change domain validation, add or remove SANs and download the certificate. On the service page, TheSSLStore Order ID links the service to its order.

Important Notes

Live Orders Are Billed

With Sandbox Mode off, every paid order places a billable order at TheSSLStore. Imported products are active and visible at once, so import into a live account when prices are ready.

Prices and Currency

Costs and sale prices are saved in the currency of your TheSSLStore price list. Keep its exchange rate current. If WISECP has no such currency, the amounts are saved in your default currency without conversion.

Suspension

Suspending a service changes its status in WISECP only. The certificate stays valid at TheSSLStore.

Required Permissions

Requires PRODUCTS_API to open and configure the module.
