Connect OpenPanel to WISECP to manage hosting accounts, plans and addon domains from each service record.

Accessing the Screen

Open Products → Servers → Add New Server. Select OpenPanel under Server Automation Module. Edit existing records from the server list.

Before You Start

You need an OpenAdmin administrator account and OpenPanel Enterprise with API access enabled. Enable it on the server with opencli api on. The OpenPanel API guide explains the prerequisites. Do not use a customer panel account.

WISECP needs network access to the administrator API, an available module license, an active server and a hosting product priced in your chosen currency. Saved servers have Preferences, Linked Services and Import sections.

Connection and Product Settings

Address / HostnameBoth required. Enter the OpenAdmin host without a URL path in Address. The default port is 2087 with SSL enabled or disabled; 2083 belongs to the customer panel.
Username / PasswordBoth required. Use the OpenAdmin administrator credentials. No separate API token is entered; the module obtains temporary access when signing in.
Verify SSL CertificateEnabled for new records. Keep SSL and certificate verification enabled. Use Custom Port selects a different connection port.
Identity and CapacityMonthly Cost starts at zero; choose its currency. Maximum Accounts defaults to 200 when blank. The occupancy alert follows this limit. Nameservers accepts four lines.
PlanSelect a plan by name in product Automation → Module Configuration. Selection fills Resource Limits. Match plan names across a server group; do not assume an empty selection is valid.

Tasks

Connecting the Server

  1. Complete Connection Details and click Test Connection.
  2. The test checks administrator authentication and account listing. Success does not prove permission to create or delete accounts.
  3. Complete Identity and Capacity, then click Add New Server; verify the record in the list. Existing records use Save Changes.

Mapping a Product

  1. In the hosting product, select OpenPanel under Automation → Module Assignment.
  2. Choose Single Server or Server Group under Server Configuration. Set Module Configuration → Plan.
  3. Check Resource Limits and prices. Keep the first product hidden with Automatic Setup disabled.
  4. Click Save Changes; verify the server and plan mapping.

Disk space converts to MB; email, database, FTP, addon domain and hourly email limits come from the plan. Bandwidth stays unlimited, because the OpenPanel plan value is a port speed, not a monthly quota. Subdomain and parked domain limits have no OpenPanel setting. Missing or zero plan limits appear unlimited. These fields do not add panel capabilities.

Provisioning creates the user on the selected plan, then attaches the primary domain. A failed domain step can leave the user created; a retry reuses that user and only adds the domain. An existing username is not recreated. If WISECP cannot read whether the account exists, provisioning stops and shows the reason. If the stored initial password contains special characters, the module generates a new alphanumeric password.

Linking Existing Accounts

On the saved server, click Import → List Results. The list shows usernames and reported domains; matching uses the domain. Check missing domains. Passwords and plans are not imported; a connection error can also produce an empty list.

Select accounts and map their client, product, cycle and dates. Click Import below the list; verify each existing account has the correct details in Linked Services.

Managing the Service

Actions include account creation, suspension, reactivation, termination and password changes. Change Management → Settings → Plan, then click Save Changes; check the new limits in the panel. Product upgrades also change the plan.

Suspend on an account already suspended in OpenPanel completes without calling the panel, and so does Unsuspend on an active one. Before Unsuspend and Cancel, the module checks the panel for a look-alike account. That is another suspended account whose name ends in this account’s name, such as alicebob for bob. If one exists, the action stops and the message names it. Unsuspend that account in OpenPanel, repeat the action, then suspend it again. If the panel cannot be read, nothing is sent and the message shows the reason. Repeat the action once the panel answers. A password change on an account suspended in OpenPanel is refused, because OpenPanel does not apply it to a suspended account; unsuspend the service first, then change the password.

Administrators and customers use the permitted addon domain tool in the service’s Management tab. It is hidden when disabled in server Preferences. Addon domains can be listed, added and deleted; editing and custom document roots are unavailable. Manage other hosting tools in OpenPanel.

The panel link signs in with a one-time link issued by OpenAdmin. If no link is issued, it opens the normal login page on port 2083. The disk gauge shows account consumption. The email account count covers the mailboxes on the account’s domains and refreshes at most every five minutes. When the mail server is not running or its list cannot be read, only the limit is shown. The database row shows only the plan limit, because OpenPanel does not report databases per account. The addon domain count excludes the primary domain.

Automatic metric collection provides disk usage in MB only. Product prices, saleable addons and order requirements are not prepared automatically; plan selection is not periodic catalog synchronization. Before enabling automatic setup, compare Management → Overview with the panel on an existing test service.

Important Notes

Account and Plan Changes

Termination deletes the account; take a backup first. Plan changes reapply panel limits. A row that shows only its limit does not prove that nothing is used.

Required Permissions

Server settings require MODULES_SERVERS_SETTINGS; product editing requires PRODUCTS_OPERATION. Service actions require their corresponding service permissions.
