# ServerAvatar

Connect ServerAvatar to WISECP to track a server’s hosting user access, application quotas and usage counts through a service.

## Accessing the Screen

Open **Products → Servers → Add New Server**. Select **ServerAvatar** under **Server Automation Module**. Edit existing records from the server list.

## Before You Start

You need a ServerAvatar account API token and access to the target organization. The token must read organizations, servers, hosting users, applications and databases; user management also requires write permissions.

This module links one service to one ServerAvatar server’s hosting user. Do not share the same target server between independent customers. The product selects a server and quotas; it does not create a cloud server or website.

Sales require an available module license, an active WISECP server record and a hosting product priced in your chosen currency. Saved servers have **Preferences**, **Linked Services** and **Import** sections.

## Connection and Product Settings

- **Address / Hostname**: Required by the form. API connections always use api.serveravatar.com over HTTPS; these fields do not change the API host. There is no port selector.
- **API Token**: Required. Enter the ServerAvatar account token. The current form also requires nonempty Username and Password fields; the API uses the token.
- **Organization ID**: Optional and blank by default. When blank, the first accessible organization is selected. Enter the target identifier explicitly when working with multiple organizations.
- **Verify SSL Certificate**: Enabled for new records. Keep API certificate verification enabled. The form’s SSL switch does not change the fixed HTTPS API address.
- **Identity and Capacity**: Monthly Cost starts at zero; choose its currency. Maximum Accounts defaults to 200 when blank; this shared value does not remove the single-user limit. An occupancy alert and four nameserver lines are available.
- **ServerAvatar Server**: Required on the product. Select a target from the organization’s servers. Selection neither purchases nor creates a server; it uses an existing server identifier.
- **Application / Database Quotas**: Allowed Applications and Allowed Databases default to 0. The form describes 0 as unlimited; suspension sends the same value. Verify behavior before selling the service.

## Tasks

### Connecting the Server

1. Complete **Connection Details** and, when needed, **Organization ID**. Click **Test Connection**.
2. The test resolves the organization and lists servers. Success does not prove permission to create a hosting user or block access.
3. Complete **Identity and Capacity**, then click **Add New Server**; verify the record in the list. Existing records use **Save Changes**.

### Mapping a Product

1. In the hosting product, select **ServerAvatar** under **Automation → Module Assignment**.
2. Select the WISECP connection record under **Server Configuration**. Choose the actual target in **Module Configuration → ServerAvatar Server**.
3. Set **Allowed Applications** and **Allowed Databases**. Check **Resource Limits** and prices; keep the first product hidden with **Automatic Setup** disabled.
4. Click **Save Changes**; verify the target server and both quotas.

Server selection can populate shared limits; later quota field changes do not resynchronize these values. Compare application and database quotas with the panel. Unlimited disk, traffic, email and FTP values do not add panel capabilities.

Creation derives a username from the service domain and enables a hosting user on the selected server. Creation is skipped if the server already has a user; verify that this belongs to the correct customer. Websites, databases, saleable addons and order requirements are not prepared automatically.

### Linking Existing Accounts

On the saved server, click **Import → List Results**. Check **Username** and **ServerAvatar Server ID**. The list shows servers’ hosting users, not website domains. Servers without a user or with failed reads may be skipped.

Select accounts and map their client, product, cycle and dates. Click **Import** below the list; verify the user and target server in **Linked Services**. User and server identifiers are imported; the list does not provide passwords or quotas.

### Managing the Service

Suspension saves existing quotas and sets both to 0; reactivation sends the previous values back. This alone does not prove that websites stop or login is blocked. Password changes also resend product quotas; check suspended accounts especially carefully.

Product upgrades change quotas; they do not migrate the service to another ServerAvatar server. There is no separate service plan configuration form in this module. Administrators and customers can open the panel link from **Management**; without suitable login information, it falls back to normal ServerAvatar login.

WISECP provides no file, email, FTP, DNS, cron, SSL or PHP tools here. **Management → Overview** shows the user, quotas and application/database counts. Counts cover the entire target server. There are no disk or traffic gauges.

Application and database counts can be collected as usage metrics; connection errors may display zero. Compare figures with the panel before billing. Prices and catalogs are not periodically synchronized; metric pricing requires separate configuration. Verify access and quotas on an existing test service before enabling automatic setup.

## Important Notes

> **Access and Quota Limits**
> 
> Termination removes the hosting user; it neither deletes the cloud server nor backs up websites. Take a backup first. Two zero quotas produce a suspended indicator; check the actual access outcome separately in the panel.

## Required Permissions

Server settings require **MODULES_SERVERS_SETTINGS**; product editing requires **PRODUCTS_OPERATION**. Service actions require their corresponding service permissions.
