# Registrar Configuration

https://docs.wisecp.com/es/registrar-modules

Connect your registrar account to WISECP and choose which provider handles the domain extensions you sell.

## Reaching the Screen

Go to **Products → Domains → Domain Name Registrars**: `{admin}/module/registrars`.

## What Is on the Screen

**Recommended Modules** shows suggested providers, while **All Modules** lists the registrar modules in your system. Click a module card to open that provider’s settings.

Configure the provider account here, then select a registrar for each extension under **Products → Domains**. Registrar modules have no shared activation button.

## Tasks

### Connect a Provider Account

1. Open an account with your provider and prepare its API credentials. Follow the provider guide below for required permissions and server IP restrictions.
2. Open **All Modules** and click the provider’s card. Enter that account’s credentials under **Module Settings**.
3. Complete the nameserver, cost currency and other options requested by the module, following its guide. Available fields differ between providers.
4. If available, click **Test Connection** to check access, then click **Save Changes**. Your account settings are saved; the connection test alone does not save them.

### Assign Registrars to Extensions

1. Open **Products → Domains**. If the extension is missing, use **Add Extension**. See [Domain Extensions and Pricing](https://docs.wisecp.com/en/domain-extensions-and-pricing) for the complete steps.
2. In the extension’s row, select your configured module from **Registrar**. For example, you can select ResellerClub for **.com**.
3. Click **Update Extensions**. Your selected registrar handles new domain operations for that extension.
4. Before offering the extension for sale, open the row’s **Pricing** button to review registration, transfer and renewal prices. Check its **Status** selection.

Assigning a registrar to an extension does not transfer existing domains to another company. To add domains from your provider account to WISECP, follow the module’s import guide.

### Find a Module in the List

1. Enter the provider name in the search field under **All Modules**. Use the status filter and any available category or region filters. On narrow screens, open **Filters & Search**.
2. If there are no results, click **Reset Filters** and search again. Open the matching card to reach its settings.

If the module is missing from your system, follow the installation steps in [Module Management](https://docs.wisecp.com/en/module-management).

## Things to Watch

> **Do Not Test Transactions with a Live Account**
>
> Registration, transfer and renewal can charge your provider account. Use the provider’s test account and the testing steps in its module guide.

> **Supported Actions Depend on the Provider**
>
> Check your module’s guide for renewal, transfer, DNS management and import support. Follow the provider’s instructions for unsupported actions. Update service dates only after verifying the actual result with the provider.

> **Direct Registry Connections**
>
> Modules that connect directly to an extension’s registry may require accreditation. This condition does not apply to every registrar module; follow your reseller provider’s account requirements.

## Required Privileges

Module configuration requires **Domain Name Registrars**. Extension assignments and price changes also require **Products → Edit**.
