Connect your CentralNic Reseller account to register and manage domains through WISECP.

## Access the Screen

Open: **Products → Domains → Domain Name Registrars → All Modules → CentralNic Reseller**: `{admin}/module/registrars?module=CentralNic`.

## What Is on the Screen

The screen contains Module Settings, Import and Import Extensions tabs.

### Prepare the Provider Account

Prepare an activated CentralNic Reseller account, API access and sufficient funds for live orders. Follow [account setup](https://support.centralnicreseller.com/hc/en-gb/articles/20040551857053-How-to-Get-Started-as-a-CentralNic-Reseller). The API password can differ from the control-panel password. Use separate OT&E credentials.

PHP cURL connects over HTTPS to api.rrpproxy.net or api-ote.rrpproxy.net. If account IP restrictions are enabled, authorize the server or proxy’s outgoing IP; see [API security](https://kb.centralnicreseller.com/api/api-security/). Confirm migrated accounts with the provider before changing modules.

## Settings

- ****API Username****: Required; initially empty. Enter the API account username.
- ****API Password****: Required; initially empty. Enter the API password for the selected environment.
- ****Test Mode (OT&E)****: Disabled by default. Enable for the OT&E environment.
- ****Proxy Server****: Optional; initially empty. Sends API traffic through the specified proxy.
- ****Show DNSSEC Management****: Disabled by default. Enables DS changes; disabling it returns an empty list and rejects changes. The tab can remain visible.
- ****Default Renewal Mode****: Default: AUTOEXPIRE. Applies to new registrations only. AUTORENEW enables provider renewal; AUTODELETE can request deletion at expiry. Coordinate provider renewal with WISECP billing.
- ****Default Nameservers****: Four initially empty fields; the first two have required markers. Set valid nameservers before registration.
- ****Automatic Cost Updates****: Disabled by default. Refreshes costs daily and applies the profit rate to selling prices. Only extensions assigned to this provider are updated.
- ****Cost Currency****: Default: US Dollar (USD). Match the account’s price currency; check the selection before saving and importing.

## Tasks

### Connect and Test

1. Enable the test option and enter the test account.
2. Click **Test Connection**. It calls StatusAccount to check access. It does not test domain registration, prices or DNS changes.
3. Click **Save Changes** and reopen the form. No separate WISECP server record is required.
4. Switch to live credentials after verifying test operations. Keep test extensions unavailable for sale.

### Import Extensions and Prices

In **Import Extensions**, select extensions and a profit rate, then import. Existing provider assignments and prices can change; new extensions are created inactive. The catalog imports active yearly zones, registration setup plus annual cost, renewal cost and transfer cost. Its 1–10 year limits and capability flags are generic. Confirm registry eligibility and premium pricing separately. The current extension preview can show zero although importable prices exist. Zero does not mean free.

### Existing Domains

The **Import** tab lists provider domains. In this version, the selected domain name is not passed into its information lookup. Listing success does not establish that import works. Avoid bulk import; confirm one service in a test account or arrange an existing service record with your administrator.

### Manage the Service

Registration, incoming transfer, renewal, restore, nameserver changes, transfer locks, privacy and synchronization are implemented. Open the domain under **Orders → Services**. Transfer eligibility is checked before submission; verify pending or failed transfers with the provider.

**DNS** supports A, AAAA, CNAME, MX, TXT, SRV, NS, CAA, PTR and NAPTR in an existing provider zone. Locked records are omitted; default TTL is 3600. DNSSEC changes replace the domain’s DS set, so preserve other valid keys.

**WHOIS** updates existing contact handles where available. A shared handle can affect other domains. Confirm contact reuse before saving; this is not an automated ownership trade.

**Transfer** can retrieve EPP codes. For .de, .be, .no and .eu it first requests an auth-code update. Confirm any required registrant approval in the provider portal.

Child nameservers can be added, edited and deleted. A rename deletes the old host before creating the new one. Email edits also delete before adding, so a failed replacement can remove the old setting. URL forwarding ignores the requested 302 method and reports 301.

## Things to Consider

> **Charges and Operation Results**
> 
> Live orders and restore can incur charges. AUTORENEW can overlap WISECP renewal; AUTODELETE has deletion consequences. Local suspension or cancellation does not change provider billing or domain status.

> **Troubleshooting**
> 
> Check the API password, environment, balance and IP permissions first. Some provider refusals can be interpreted as an inactive domain. Compare availability, status and expiry with the portal before making a customer-facing decision.

## Required Permissions

Setup requires **Domain Name Registrars** permission. Service operations depend on the corresponding administrator or client permissions and provider account access.
